This taxonomic class consists of the three orders, Anura (frogs and toad), Caudata (salamanders and newts), and lastly Gymnophiona (legless caecilians). Many members of Amphibia have two stages of life in which they go through: the larval stage which is typically aquatic (think tadpoles!) and the adult stage which is typically land dwelling.
